How to Add to your Wishlist

STEP 1:
You'll see links through to the Wishlist on the books for sale pages, which will take you to a simple form. The more details you can complete on the form, including if possible the ISBN, the easier it will be to identify if somebody lists it for sale. You can edit the details of your Wishlist, including taking books off, via your My Account page.

STEP 2:
The book you have added to your Wishlist will then appear on the main Books Wanted list, with your location (which will help attract sellers), but not your username.

STEP 3:
When new books are listed for sale, we check them off against the Books Wanted list: if the book you want has been listed, you will be notified by email, and it will then be up to you to go on to the website and buy the book the usual way. If you decide not to buy the book, you need do nothing. The email notification does not reserve the book for you, or put you under any obligation to buy that particular copy. If however you are interested, we suggest you visit the website quickly as the book will be listed for sale for any visitors to the site. If several people have listed the same book on Books Wanted and it is listed on the site, they will all receive a notification email at the same time.

STEP 4:
If you decide you do want to buy the book, you then proceed as described in How to Buy. You will also need to take the book off your Wishlist on your My Account page, at which point it will disappear from the Books Wanted list also.

Remember, the more accurate the information you enter on your Wishlist, the more likely you are to attract sellers to list the book if they have it.
