Welcome to our section dedicated to second-hand bookshops.
At AcademicBookTrade.co.uk we cater specifically for students, graduates and
academics and everyone looking for second-hand academic books. The
academic community values and uses dedicated sites: AcademicBookTrade.co.uk
serves both its needs and yours.
What you can list
AcademicBookTrade.co.uk is a listing service for second-hand
academic books only. It is not for general books, nor is it intended
as a platform for listing antiquarian books, or rare books unless
they happen to be genuinely academic. We will be marketing the site
across the academic community, but we anticipate that more students
will use the site initially, not least because there are more of
them than there are academics. To realise the best sales from the
site, we therefore recommend that you select the books you wish to
list accordingly.
Introductory offer and charges
As this is a new website, we want to give it time
to find its feet, and you time to work out what sells best, so we
are intentionally keeping prices low.
Our introductory offer is 50 free book listings for
your first month.
To list more books in addition to those 50 free listings,
our monthly subscription charges for the first six months are:

And that’s it. There are no other fees to pay for
the first six months. No commission, no percentage, just the monthly
subscription fee. Charges will be payable monthly in advance.
Uploading
Our aim is to be as flexible as possible in uploading
your book information on to our site and to work with you to find
a way to upload any information you already have. We can accept information
from HomeBase files and in a wide variety of other formats.

What next?
The first stage of registering with AcademicBookTrade.co.uk
is to complete the Bookshop Registration Enquiry Form. When we have reviewed the information you send us, we will contact you to clarify
any further points. If you then decide to proceed, you can complete
our Bookshop Registration Confirmation Form. NB you must have completed
the Enquiry Form and heard back from us in order to complete the
Confirmation Form.
